If still in the land of the living, I'll try and pop over on the S1. Maybe even drag my mate over on his new M2.

We took full advantage of the decent weather at the weekend to explore parts of Wales we don’t visit very often. We entered mid Wales via Welshpool and then rode across to Dolgellau, Barmouth and then north up to Snowdonia. What a stunning route with hardly any traffic and one of the best rides this year :P....

We stayed Saturday night in Criccieth, west of Porthmadog and covered a total of 416 miles. It’s really wetted our appetite for next years ‘UKBEG Wales Weekend’.

Picture taken on the harbour at Criccieth.

I'm up for one of either the sunday or the saturday depends on weather and am more than happy to lead a ride out as its a spin around my back garden. :yup:
Unfortunately the S1wl wont be there as its AST wont be back from the rebuild in time :(
Will have to take the blades race fairings off and road ones on and ride that :P

Rich, it looks like there's only us two little-uns attending this Wales weekend.

We won't arrive in Porthmadog until late Saturday afternoon. The forecast doesn't look too bad for Sunday, if you're agreeable we'll probably just meet up somewhere for lunch?

Rich, how about the Ponderosa Café http://www.ponderosacafe.co.uk for Sunday lunch?

We can confirm on Saturday evening when we have a better idea of the weather.

The best ride of the year so far, we've covered 205 miles using a meandering cross country route in beautiful weather :sun: ; and all nicely rounded off with a fish & chip supper on Porthmadog harbour. It doesn't get much better than this :P....

The hotel is spot on and extremely biker friendly, highly recommended if you're ever in this area.

Adam, we'll aim to be at the Ponderosa Café between 12.30 & 1.00pm.

Today's expected showers didn't materialise so we've enjoyed exploring north west Wales in near perfect conditions. It was great to meet up with Adam on his Ducati 1198 at the Ponderosa Café, sorry we were a bit late :oooops: ...

An excellent day, we've met a dragon and had a full-on scenic overload riding 165 miles on some brilliant roads.
