Bike doesn't have a fuel sensor but it does have a trip counter and reserve fuel.

I now know what that little black button does....
Great to see my trip meter working today for the first time, coincidentally ran out of petrol on the way home and coasted to a halt as I haven't mastered switching the fuel tap over whilst riding.

Get proficient at doing this. A theory about the death of Dr Maz Harris was that he was switching fuel on his S1 when he crashed. I once nearly came to a sticky end switching to a nearly empty fuel tank (which I thought was full) before crossing a large stretch of water in an aircraft

I have given up trying to change over to reserve on the move, nearly impossible with adult sized hands in motorcycle gloves and the tap obscured by the frame. Just pull over, swap onto reserve with pull away again, so much less stress

On my m2 i can turn tap ile riding in summer gloves but not winter gloves

...even trickier with a pillion aboard, too, have to rotate left hip joint through 135°
