As they are practically passing my door, I was planning on stopping somewhere obvious in Windsor Great Park to meet up with the chaps from Southampton.

However, I just had a call / text / Messenger from some long-standing friends on here, though, so I will have the privilege of turning up at the Ace with some people I haven't seen for far too long. 8-)

ok bike all back together... but...just for piece of mind ...can you plze answer this for me.. ive never noticed before but is there meant to be a gap between the wheel centre and the fork on the clutch lever side of the bike as you look at it from the front on the xb12r? i know it sounds like a daft question.. but i just dont remember there being one and thought maybe i had missed a spacer or something or the wheel wasnt done right... the wheel and the fork on the brake side are butted up very close to the bearing.. just wondered why the other side isnt? NB... i know this should of been in the tech forum etc... but it sort of follows the thread if you know what i mean... ... :yup: OH and i hope the lads have all had a good day and managed to stay dry... really pissed off at not being there to meet back up with the A team!! :yt:

cheers to Tony for the route via loads of country lanes :yup:
nice to put some more names to faces on here too

allways find the journey better than the destination with the Ace TBH.

looked like Kev stopped on the hard shoulder hope it was nothing serious mate?

Cracking day out today, good to see the usual suspects and a few other Buell owners too.
How the hell did that XB with the ltd edition Maz series airbox cover win the prize for best Buell?

Nice ride back via Devils punchbowl and Loomies. The weather tried to turn nasty but I think we all got away with a little drizzle?

I'm going to struggle to do many more ride outs at weekends now though :sad1:

Because it's the sweetest XB on the planet ya frikkin' peasant. And it's a Trojan one-off airbox cover anyways.

Oh, Hi by the way :D

Hi, you bike looks like Tim Westwood and P.Diddy had got drunk and attempted to "Pimp" it. there were better tubers there, a pair of very nicely painted XB's too and even my
CR was better looking according to Spook!!

so come on, who'd you pay to get the prize?

I actually paid Spook a fiver to fill your head with utter nonsense "my CR was better looking" just to make sure you had a nice day. Next time we'll try for a FUGLY bike contest especially so the CR's owners don't go home empty handed.
