Before I waste my time, can anyone advise me.

My bike changes gear positively BUT on upshifts there is a long shift action at the lever and on down shifts it is short.

Is it possible to equalize this action, or indeed reverse it. by maybe adjusting the pawls or changing the angles on the linkage ?

Cheers

Pawls can be adjusted but will require removal of the entire primary assembly....hope you have all the special tools for this :?
