Steve, thanks for the order
...
Everyone's entitled to an opinion, so here's mine......
Jane and I designed the products and decided on the text. We're happy with it, so are Erik and the owners of EBR.
We wanted to use the EBR logo in the design but it's subject to copyright so we have to get permission to use it.
If you don't like the design then don't place an order. If you like the design then place an order.
We (as founders of UKBEG) chose not to mention UKBEG or the website in the design because (for us) the event is all about Emma and Erik Buell. Most, or all, Buell/EBR enthusiasts attending the event know that it's a UKBEG organised event. All the publicity and website/social media notices clearly state the fact. The product design isn't meant to publicise UKBEG or this website, it commemorates the event.
The design and colours chosen lend themselves to being autographed by Erik Buell.
As stated in my notice at the start of this topic the products offered are exclusive to people who attend the event. They won't be sold via mail order, even if we have excess stock leftover after the event. We're not looking to sell as many products as possible. It doesn't matter to us if we sell 10 or 100 T-shirts.
Apologies if it upsets some people but the design stays as it is.
