Hi ya'll,

The cloggies are coming over. Ferry's booked for Friday 26th of May.
Anyone interested in teaming up on Saturday at The Ace Café?

We will be looking for accomodation near the airfield for Em's day, but it would be nice to team up for rides and drinks.
Where is everybody staying?

Thanks, and see you guys in May!

Ron.

Hi Ron

I wasn't planning on heading up till the Sunday but if I can get away on the Saturday I will call into Ace Café for a sneaky pint (its only an hour from me)

Myself and it sounds like a few others are staying here http://eastkirkbyhideaway.webs.com/

I read in a post that someone is organising a knees up on the Sunday at the hideaway. Someone can shed more light on that.

Accommodation is fast booking out in the area so get in quick Ron. The nearby pubs are full already. If you're not camping then try airbnb.

See you then.
Nathan

Ron, thanks for confirming that a group of Dutch riders are coming to the event. I understand that groups are also coming over from northern France, Belgium and Italy. We're also expecting a few riders from Denmark, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. As we'd hoped, this event is going to be a fantastic international gathering of Buell/EBR enthusiasts :P...

As Nathan has stated, hotel and B&B's in the immediate vicinity of East Kirkby are just about fully booked. You might be lucky and find somewhere with the odd room available but there isn't a place big enough local to the event that has enough capacity to cater for a larger group. If you can let me know how many people are coming over in your group I'll see if I can help you find somewhere suitable within a 50 mile radius of East Kirkby.

Hi Chris,

We are only with the two of us for now, and I don't know how many others are coming over.
We are trying to get a spot on the campside, and we will be arriving there Saturday.

Don't think we'll make it to the Ace Cafe, seeing the distances.
We might drop by at Black Bear in Newmarket on the way over to Lincolnshire.

It will be a great little get-together!

Krazy Horse is pretty much on your route; not far from Newmarket, and has a decent cafe, interesting bikes and friendly staff. http://www.krazyhorse.co.uk

I'll second that. They have some of the more Buell friendly staff from Black Bear as well 8-) George, my Service Manager, John from Sales and Nobby the Cyclone and Uly riding parts man :D

And their demo EBR 1190SX still available for sale!

Steve
