actually no, but that maybe to do with the fact it had done just over 2000 miles and had been wrapped in cotton wool. I loved the bike having had 3 buells before. tbh if i had the money and space i would have kept it as well as buying something else. I was fully aware of the limited parts availability and what would happen if a major component failed. I didn't want to be in that position.
I may well return to buell in the future, i have a bit of a soft spot for them and know some great people through owning one.
so just in case anyone is thinking i am gonna go down the slag them off road now i have defected, think again !!
That's great you never had any problems, must've been hard to part with. I really want another bike but only have room for 2 so one will go next year...not the Buell though, she is a keeper
Reliability issues are down to lack of research/upgrades, preventative maintenance and too many moths in the wallet IMO. So I'm glad to hear you wont be one of those haters, 'cos that's just embarrassing
