Did you have reliability issues with your Buell?

actually no, but that maybe to do with the fact it had done just over 2000 miles and had been wrapped in cotton wool. I loved the bike having had 3 buells before. tbh if i had the money and space i would have kept it as well as buying something else. I was fully aware of the limited parts availability and what would happen if a major component failed. I didn't want to be in that position.

I may well return to buell in the future, i have a bit of a soft spot for them and know some great people through owning one. :D

so just in case anyone is thinking i am gonna go down the slag them off road now i have defected, think again !!

Sooo... when you 'return to Buell in the future'... do you reckon the current 'limited parts availability' situation will have been remedied? wb

That's great you never had any problems, must've been hard to part with. I really want another bike but only have room for 2 so one will go next year...not the Buell though, she is a keeper :)

Reliability issues are down to lack of research/upgrades, preventative maintenance and too many moths in the wallet IMO. So I'm glad to hear you wont be one of those haters, 'cos that's just embarrassing :yup:
