Do you know which make of Fuel injectors Buell used. I saw a post on I think the X1 Files that said they were produced by Ford. Would you know part numbers by any chance? Also I would like to replace the Lambda sensor O2. Do you know a manufacturer and part number for a replacement.
Thanks in anticipation. :couch:

Lambda sensor is a Bosch 12014

viewtopic.php?p=211576#p211576

But I think yours is OK.

You can read the injector manufacturer off the injectors I sent you away with. I think they are Sagem. Used on some Peugeots I believe. The X1 injectors are the same as the 02/03 XB9 injectors. I tried to get them matched up by an injector specialist and this is what he had to say:

Quote:
those injectors are made by Sagem, nasty little disc injectors, there is no flow rate for those available and when you check on the net you get varying 120 -295cc figures.
they are fitted to Puegeot Citroen same injector, they have a horrible habit of partially burning on the solonoids which causes them to stop working at various ecu driving loads.
If you want an up grade thats ok we can do this, but I would need you to send me your injectors, I can do a flow analysis and then work out your % increase, but they would have to be mapped in as with any increase flowing injectors they would not be plug and play.

There is a Bosch that fits the X1 manifold (but not the XB9), Mickrick is using them in his. Bosch part number is 0280156065.

I before buying, I suggest you strip the fuel system down to the injectors to make sure they are not full of crap and try my injectors.

Thanks Nick. I will do I just want to get some backup bits and pieces which seems to be the sensible thing to do.

I did some cross referencing for Lambdas too. I'll try and dig out the part number and make of the one I fitted.

What's afoot at the Emporium? Could it be a wee test?

Wee being Scottish for 'small' rather than with urine...

Both injectors wide open at 50psi for 60 seconds.
Need to try the Bosch injectors in a bike and see what happens to AFV.

I'll wait on the results for a bit as I have plenty else to do. If the Bosch don't work out, I'll be hitting up someone here to send some Sagems over to me. I can't get them stateside as none of the major online auto suppliers here carry parts for Citroen/Peugeot/Renault.

Mickrick is using Bosch injectors in his X1, the very same part number that Maz has tested above.

But if you were to buy Sagems, what would you buy? If you want to find a car that uses them, as a guide you are looking for a 160hp 4 cylinder French model (and knowing nothing about cars I don't know what the model would be).

Alternatively, if you really wanted Sagems, you could just buy them from HD...
