I have a Termignoni exhaust system that has all the mounting hardware, installation instructions and a set of the quiet inserts that I no longer need/want. This is the exhaust that came with the valve in the inlet pipe, for the XB 12, but the mounting tabs have been broken. A person would need to order a new inlet pipe, have the damaged one repaired or have an new one inlet pipe and mounting bracket fabricated without the valve. I can provide detailed information about the parts that need to be replaced if wanted and pics can be emailed upon request. I live in Italy but will gladly post this to wherever need be. Looking for 300 pounds plus shipping, or best offer.

Thanks,
Steve

Putting :wtbk: in the advert might help. £300 plus shipping from Italy for a broken pipe sounds a bit optimistic, though.

Good luck with the sale.

You might want to order the pipe yourself before selling it too. The Termi Buell pipe has a reputation for falling to bits. Selling it in its current state seems to confirm that as fact to any prospective buyers.

I've got one.

The issue is with the mounting brackets Termi supply. They fit the bike fine, but not the exhuast, weirdly. So it wobbles and breaks the front of the pipe. I cut a sheet of steel and put that between the exhuast and the hanger for it and it is solid now - just as good as the standard can fitment wise.

The parts that fail and lead to the damage cost about 5 euros. There isn't any information from Termi in the instructions about the fact that this little rubber piece that fails needs to be replaced every 3 - 4Kms is a bit annoying. The easiest fix is to have a new inlet pipe and mounting bracket made to eliminate have to replace the rubber piece is the easiest option. With the price of this exhaust now upwards of 800 euros I figured that approx 300 quid was a fair price but I did state "or best offer". Since I haven't had any I'll sell it on ebay and whatever the price ends up being, so be it. At this point I just want the box out of my garage....

True that - the support from Termignoni is appalling. Their contact us on website was down for 3 months, the UK importer had 'seen a Buell pipe, once" and although I ordered the silent blocks (little rubber bits) ~3-4 months ago I've never heard back...

I did get in touch with a guy from one of the American sites (badweb) who had one and he was very helpful, told me about the rubber bits needing to be replaced etc. He got the info from the guy who designed the pipe who he met in a bar or something while serving in the US military in Europe?

The pipe is a good one - incredibly light, works nicely with the bike and sounds good, but the brackets and mounts are a little shit and Termi are, well, Italian - in the worst way. But if you are handy with some tools and can make up a few pieces it is a good exhaust.

It's shite there is no info on this pipe around. I wonder if this thread will be indexed by Google? Would help folks out.

I am the guy that you spoke with via email from Badweb! I am American, in the military and I'm currently stationed in Italy. I bought the pipe while I was in Belgium from Hillbilly Motorsports in Germany and they can order parts for you. I also had decent luck in contacting Termi directly but I have decided to go a different direction exhaust wise. I guess I'll put this on ebay, no one here will make me an offer.

Ah cool, there you go then!

I'd eBay it, post it anywhere in Europe and someone will buy it.
