Yeah... well... hey, you won, didn't you!

(Even if the reason I didn't go was more down to only returning from Sweden late Friday night)

Hi all and thanks CJ and patrick, also anyone else involved in the organizing. Had a great time despite my bike not wanting to do the last 20 miles until me and the rac man sorted it out.

Great to meet some new and some previous faces.

Am now sat in my tent somewhere north of glasgow, but the weather has changed to rain :( looks like it might clear tomorrow.

Bike has been ok, it must have had a grumpy moment on the way to the bbq.

See some of you next sunday I hope :)

Many thanks to Chris, Jane & Patrick for a organising the event. It was really nice to meet you all and put faces to names.

Plus a big thank you to whoever did tell those noisy ********'s to shut up.

What a stonking weekend, good venue, excellent location, fantastic company.

Great to see a good number of faces familiar and the not so familiar, but all really friendly. It is a "special" community I am proud to be part of.

Good band on Sat night, good to join in with the tassle tractor brigade, especially as most of them came in their cars. and those who did venture out on two wheels hid their bikes under HD bike covers.......well to be honest so would I

More Buells than HDs, not bad considering we piggybacked onto a HD event.

Thanks to CJ Jane and Patrick for organising a super event.

Special thanks to Bigphill for reprimanding the noisy :tosser: 's at 3:00am. The only problem then was Richie   who is even louder when he is asleep than when he is awake

I had been warned about Goldy....but could not hear him above the rest of the racket

Excellent journey back improved by heading down te A38 in the wrong direction, and the next junction being 6 miles on. You know how it is, as soon as you hit the exit slip you realise you took the wrong exit :headbang: :yc:

November eh... :?: ................. oh go on then :yup:

Another huge thank you to Chris Jane and Patrick from us as well. We love spending time with our second family and it was lovely to see some new faces joining us. We had a wonderful time even if I did spend my time in denial that I was coming down with a chest infection. I finally gave in the following morning in Matlock Bath and it was a grotty ride home. Now Im sat snotty sniffly and feeling sorry for myslef while Rick has his birhtday ride out without me sigghhhh.

When are we doing it again ;)

Hi Jacqui - thanks for the picture link :yup:...

So, some of you really want to have another BBQ at the Knockerdown Inn in November?

If that's the case we'll see what we can do - but don't blame me if the weather's cold/wet/miserable/frosty/sunny/windy (delete as appropriate) :D...

OK, you've talked me into it - a November BBQ at the Knockerdown Inn :P.....

I'll find out which is the best date for all concerned and post details in due course.
