Hi guys, trying to repair my X1 after being knocked off by a 17 year old in a Corsa, whilst on his phone at a junction...

...I bought a Forcewinder kit online, from the US, and all appeared well. However, it turns out that the kit didn’t come with everything I need to get back on track.

There is a mount/manifold which goes between the forcewinder bracket and the bike itself..part of said manifold links into the injector unit...but this is mangled on mine and I can’t seem to find the right part.

I’ll try and upload an image...in the meantime, does anyone know what I’m talking about or have an idea of an alternative setup which might be more readily available in the UK market?

Thanks in advance! :worthy:

I may be wrong here, but I'm not sure you actually need it with a Forcewinder. My S1 had the spacer when I had the CF race filter on it, and my Forcewinder came with another one, of a slightly different thickness. I ended up fitting the Forcewinder without using the spacer. I think the spacer is only required to space out a flat filter unit from hitting the frame, which isn't a problem with the Forcewinder.

You mean the support bracket!?

Remove it ,make it straight with hammer and vice ,test fitting it on the bike till it fits perfect.

Or buy a new one

I will bend the support bracket for sure, but, behind that- the piece which sits in the inlet...

OK, sorry, I was talking about the outer ring, between the bracket and the forcewinder.

Thanks guys. I think that last part was exactly what I need, although not all of it...so hard to get simple bits. Thanks for the help.
