how many miles are u getting from your tyres ?

iv had my xb12ss for a few months now , i got it with nearly new bridgestone bt20s and iv done 645 miles and iv killed them !

iv got 2 harleys and iv run avon venoms on both for a few years and they realy suit the hogs , they have good grip and seem to get good miles out of them

i know the venoms work well on them but not sure if they will work well on the buell

whats recomend ? i ride the bike hard and like lots of grip as i like to get my knees down

I get more than 10 times that much, so I don't think that anything I write here will be relevant!!

I must confess that the tyres I have on at the moment can have their life span measured in years :!: :x

I've you've got grippy tyres and ride hard you're unlikely to get more than 2500 miles per set, whatever they are :P

Still using the standard fitment on the Ulysses. Pirrelli diablo strada. 4700 miles from the rear and about 8000 from the front. Such a good tyre for the bike that I can't see any reason to try any thing else.

Got 1500 miles out of my rear Diablo, and I am a gentle rider! I replaced it with a Road Pilot 2, which was still going strong after 4500 miles.

looks like iv done well to kill the tyres in so little mileage !

i though that the bt20s were quite a hard tyre , my missis has them on here monster and got 3 years from them

looking at maxxi supermaxx sport , designed for the occasional track day, and aggressive street rider sounds like me !

Continental Road Attack also look good

as the buell is only a toy and isnt used that much i dont need mega mileage tyres but would like more than 650 miles

I can recommend the Conti Road Attacks.

I have got 7,000 miles out of a pair on a Triumph Tiger. At that mileage they did have a bit more tread but the back had squared off.

I must admit to being horrified that you got so little mileage out of your tyres. Were they correctly inflated? Maybe I ride like a wuss but I think that I've never had less than 4,000 miles out of a tyre and that was a Dunlop fitted to the Blackbird: I did sell that bike because it was looking like I was due some gaol time for the speed that I regularly rode at.

I'm not sure that "well" is the adverb I would have chosen.
