i thought i would take a ride down on the Buell , to Sammy Millers Museum in the new forest
see if they'd take the old fekin thing as an exhibit ...the Buell not me
got there & it was closed , a few other people had gone too
the sign outside says open....doh
i should have checked the web site first though
as it says they're closed till the new year

What a great day out that was 24 people on eight Buells plus various other bikes and four wheelers.

Yeah, a totally great day out to a meet & totally appropriate title (Cabin Fever) I was definitely suffering from it.
Decent food, great venue, great to meet other members & chat & admire the bikes.

Thanks to Osteveo for nudging me as I had totally missed the event, despite the thread.

Well done Steve for remembering everyone's names & bikes.

I have done this meet many times, but never seen the collection. By luck, I was at the NMM on Sat 22d Dec... thanks to my wife surprising me with a couple of nights away and, amongst other treats, a half day there. Mind you, you should have seen her face when told by the gift shop staff that there were a further 5 halls...
Just a word of advice if you consider similar; on no account stay at the Best Western in nearby Meriden. And whatever else you do, DO NOT eat at the attached Marco Pierre White 'Steakhouse', despite it appearing to be a no-brainer to stroll 50m to your dinner under cover on a wet cold night. Both hotel and restaurant were truly shite (but thanks anyway, Love).
No, I would rather have stayed at a run down Travelodge and crawled naked over broken glass in the rain on my hands and knees to the nearest 'spoons.
