http://www.freewebs.com/bmwrideruk/buel ... eekend.htm

10/10 - for the Adventure weekend!
thx Lars
***************************************************************

as I am booked on the Buell Adventure Weekend in Snowdonia for the 3/4 of October - I am just starting this thread so check if anyone else from the South / South East is going up.

I have taken the Friday and the Monday off work so that my plan is to ride up to North Wales on Friday and back down on Monday.

If anyone from here is going too and wants to join for the rides up and down please let me know.
I know its a while yet until October, but I thought I start already asking....

Route is open for now but probably following along the A470 from South Wales all the way up...

thx Lars

It's based within spitting distance of my home and will be using a lot of green lanes I'm very intimate with. When I first heard of it, I contacted to Buell to check out the cost. Well fuck me, was I shocked? I did email them back and say I would be available with free tech advice  Strangely, I got no reply :?

If I don't go into the hills with my youngest daughter this weekend, I may just come and meet you on a proper dirt bike

i have started putting a report onto my bike website...but let me tell you = 110% worth going!!! what a great time we all had and the bikes are capable of soo much - i would have never thought we could do that! The guys who run the Buell Academy are great lads but click below and see for yourselves!

Bloody Hell Lars.

That looked brillliant 8-)

Nice camera work too

I have never ridden off road myself but have been thinking of doing some trail riding which they do round these parts.

After I have gained some experiance on the trails and after watching your video/write up I would seriously consider doing the Buell Adventure weekend.

:yup:

we all used the Buell Academy bikes...they were all stock 09 model XB12X's.

as for the music...could it be that you mean "shine on you crazy diamonds" by Pink Floyd? i am not sure which of the 3 loaded videos you mean.. let me know and i will be able to tell which song...

glad you like it!

Shouldv'e got the Buell chaps to have a word with me (I did offer them local advice  ) You missed out the best part of The Wayfarers  (Mrs Adam owns some land that butts up against it) since there's a permissive route that takes you SW towards Cadair Bronwen - a beautiful mountain which my youngest daughter is named after; it has fantastic panoramic views over the entire range and also over Snowdonia. I hope you signed the book at the Memorial stone at Pen Bwlch ;)

Penultimate shot is a nice one of Llanrhaedr village centre 8-)
After you went into Llandrillo did you do any of the river crossings in Cwm Pennant, they're huge fun :D
