The East Troy factory will close for 2 months at the end of Oct! Global downturn apparently.

It is the workers that screw the bikes together so badly, so I think they are partially responsible

I think you'll find it's the Managers who actually instruct the workers to screw the bikes together so badly. It goes all the way up the ladder to the very top and then you find that true responsibility lies with the bean counters who ruin everything with their fiscal approach.

No doubt they will be having a meeting to ensure they are ok, pension wise, etc. Bless them

Phew, well done there, Spook. For a second there was a suggestion out there that workers who do a bad job should actually take some responsibility for it.

But, no. It's all the managers' fault. The noble worker remains beyond criticism.

Thank God we put that right.

I don't think Buells are badly put together

The issues with them are due to design (gearboxes/bearings etc) and some materials that aren't right - the steel for the exhuast for example? Those things are the responsibility of whoever is in charge.
