.....HDB are at it again .....

Parts are subject to yet another price hike, mostly around 10% eg. a belt will now cost you 188.61 incl. vat

Worst example on my invoice today was an engine temp sensor......last week I paid £42.51 incl. vat.....the one I bought today cost £86.44 incl. vat !!!!!! :x

Care to offer an explanation Mr. Brownridge ???????

Damned right! My choice was between £42 and £43, I might have thought a bit harder if one of them had been £86! :o

Propping up falling bike sales or maybe making up for the poor economy by raising parts and labour costs instead of reducing bike price tags :headbang:

A sad, sad situation. That price is just a piss take if not a mistake.

I checked on spare part prices, before buying my bike, and they seemed to be on a par-ish with most other makers. If this price hike is the case now I would not buy a Buell even though I like what it is. It was bad enough before but the price HD want for Buell bikes, parts and service will kill Buells stone dead in the UK.

My supplier checked and double checked the price of the ETS and it is correct.
They are going to try and get an explanation from Buell UK......I'm not gonna hold my breath but if one is forthcoming, I'll let you know.

Remember a couple of years ago when clutch cables went from 18 quid to 59 quid and front discs went from 132 quid to 357 quid :x

It would be interesting to see how much others have increased their prices recently.
Tyres and batteries have, or are just about to, suffer a similar hike.

No, the "mostly around 10%" bit.

Ah, righto...sorry I was focused on the ETS price :oooops:

10% in the current climate, I can cope with but not 86 quid for a K couple that costs pennies to produce.

What about the HD units? Are they a similar spec?
Any chance of an aftermarket supplier?
