I went to Talon in Yeovil and bought three sets of Braking to fit XB fronts (6 piston calipers).

There is a spare set if anyone wants it at cost (I need to state clearly that I am not a "vendor"), which included a 10% discount, plus postage PM me.

Yes I would say the same.

It was wet today and they did not have a problem.

They have 700 miles on them now and they have got a lot better.

It seems to have taken 500 miles of town use to bed them in well. In other words quite a lot and if your on the open road a lot maybe this is to long a time.

They were a touch "wooden" to start with but this has gone, they have much more "bite" now and less pull on the lever is req as well. Not much brake dust either. I guess you would need to watch for disc wear long term.

I got caught in that loony rain storm the other week and they worked fine. Even after going through a puddle that came up to my boots they had no problem. No "wet-disc-lag" either which was great if not a little odd.

The way to use them is to be more progressive in the way you brake. I think that is down to the Ceramic/Carbon build of the pad.

All-in-all they are a silly price at £13 IMO. Thinking on it now I tended to use a lot of OEM pads on the XTZ750 but never needed anything else once I put these on. Time will tell .

Done about a thousand miles on them now and they are just as good as original. Shame it took so long to settle them in but I am happy enough to buy them again as long as disc wear doesn't become an expensive problem.

Just fitted the second set and got 1800 miles out of them over about 2400 on the EBC pads. This is all town work riding though so on the brakes a lot and I have been using the front all the time these days.

The new set seems to have bed in much faster from the start than the first set. Disc seems fine. Cost over miles, etc they work out at about 50% less than using EBC costing £36 a set. As with the EBC pads they go off once down to about 25% of the original pad thickness. For what they are I think they are great value for money.
