triple sigh..... We were meant to have ridden that road in the summer, but we ended up caught in traffic jam on an 11 mile long, one-way, single track road which took us more than 2 hours to complete. Nowhere to overtake on a bike unless you wanted to go dirk tracking. Definitely not recommended on a fully loaded, two-up Honda ST1300. Then we couldn't find the start of the road. A nightmare day!

Deals Gap looks a fantastic road to ride. There is apparently a tree at the bottom of the ride which is covered in broken parts of motorbikes which have crashed trying to complete the run...... One of my biggest regrets of the holiday, missing that road.

im not about on the next one- wed 14th oct, as its my mums 60th........so question is- do people still wanna meet up- in which case i can move it to the 21st, or if there isnt much response- ill be back in november which will be the 11th

We're fine whatever and in fact the 3rd Wednesday in the month is better all round for me as I wouldn't have to rush away.

following on from my earlier post, im going to miss october but will be back for def in november, lets hope its not too cold!!! mum's birthday wed, and dad is still in hosp so im backwards and forwards over there, im trying to fight off a fluey bug too, that seems to love me!!! know you'll all understand and ill see you in november. ill bring the cakes.
