I have heard that this has been done before and was interested in the results. Better or worse etc as regards the front end wobble at 90+. I have lost most of it through suspension setup and correct tyre pressures but just wondered how much of an effect the handguards and beak have on the bike.

I am aware that the long travel suspension may not help matters.

it is not more likely to be due to the "beak" on the front?

I've often wondered how my STT would be affected if i took it off ?

I have taken them off and so far it works.

It now steers easier and faster at speeds over 40. The bike was dropping into bends much faster. This was because I was pushing in the same amount of force into the bars as before and now it is not needed.

I used to get the wobble at 90 and never had the balls to go over 100. Now it goes upto 100 no problem and even got to 110 :o on my private race track.
