Common failures GM......think you'll find the front motor mounts on XB's fail more often than the tubers ever have done (although with lesser consequences  )

Very, very rare for cranks to fail on tubers......very, very common on XB's, especially 9's.

Shocks were all sorted via recalls......although an AST is far superior to the Showa offering.

Only the very early 6 bobbin discs gave problems on tubers......virtually every front disc on an XB will warp at some time.

so as stated from the factory its a lottery ...
as the bits were done as recalls , they were still faulty, my point is this how many models of Buell , tuber fueller , or wetters

...were fault free

( NO I DONT MEAN THE FAULTS WERE inc FREE  )

How many shocks actually failed on tubers? I appreciate the 1st was safety recalled, but you still see pics of them fitted and oing strong, I know the recall was crap and would empty themselves of oil....so I guess we could say the shock was a common failure on early tubers, the front discs, though rattly were never a failure-not like how XB's warp them!!

or if you took the X1 out of the boxes!!!!
