They're doing them ALL as part of the PDI. We even had a discussion about what they were. In theory buy the time I get it, there will be NO difference between it and a 2009 bike.

Apart from the recalls, there are a lot of difference between an '08 and a '09 that wouldn't really be economic to fit to an earlier bike;
throttle bodies, injectors, I.C, Rev B clutch cover, front suspension internals, etc. I don't know it the latest clutch slave, sleeve and piston kit is fitted to the '09's. That would be very good to have.

Which one did you get?

this one

Nice, I was lined up for that one last week, but in the end I got this one on Friday... Thanks to MO for picking me up from Norwich Station (and punishing me with the Berlingo), GB for organising it (sorry I didn't get to see you), Ursus for still being my mate even though being driven by price I had to buy from elsewhere and Spook for the coffee...

Just another 6000rpm Buell Adventure... :D

Every time I try and post this I lose it because it takes me too long to type, so I'll be brief - hopefully you can get the info from searching either here or on BadWeatherBikers.

Do wrap the tool kit under the rear seat in plastic - the "storage area" is not very watertight and nobody likes rusty tools !

Frequent the 1125R forum of BadWeatherBikers as there is a lot more info available about the bike on there than there is on here.

For 2008MY 1125 models use the owners handbook that is available on Badweatherbikers - especially for suspension set up and oil check procedures as the early printed handbooks are wrong.

Do the denoid mod - the resistor plug is cheap enough and the mod could be a lifesaver.

On a 1125R the auxiliary power plug is underneath and between the headlights - to access it it is easiest to remove the fairing. A Uly auxiliary power lead ( cigarette lighter socket ) fits and can be used to power satnavs, charge mobiles etc.

The data cable to connect to the ECM is underneath and behind the left hand radiator pod ( as if sitting on the bike ) - not tried ECMSpy on it yet though !

The Firebolt custom seats fit if you need more comfort.

If you need a little more legroom then you can fit Lightning pegs as these have a 1 inch drop compared to the standard pegs - you will need to file down 1 edge a little - when you fit them you will see where. I've also been told that Uly pegs fit with no mods - but I cannot confirm it.
