Poor fella. If it is who I thought it was, he has only just passed his test...

To be fair, if he's just passed his test, I'll let him off :D

I've been buzzed a couple of times by a Police helicopter on the run From Betws-y-Coed up to the Menai Bridge. Last time they flew over me so that I saw their shadow, I gave them a wave, slowed down and they went away. Do they have the equipment to prosecute for speeding?

As "the equipment" can be as basic as a stop watch and a pair of eyes, I'd be fairly certain that they could get enough evidence.

The Ogwen Valley is generally safe from the pointyhead helicopter during the week owing to low flying Hawks from RAF Valley training in that area.
I did ask a Copper at Colwyn Bay Plod HQ when Mrs Adam was there doing her IAM stuff if they felt a bit hypocritical persecuting bikers who use a black visor, when their aircrew routinely use them in their helicopter. I couldn't get an answer  When I got back to my bike, one of them had left a Postit note on my numberplate saying they didn't approve of it. Nice to know the mentality of our Public Servants ain't it

:yt:

Twice in the last week I've had to avoid phone using drivers, I don't think my small(ish) number plate of loud(ish) pipe has ever endangered life  If I get nicked for speeding in a 30 or 40 zone, then I deserve all that I get.
