Works ok for me... I give em a check up every couple of weeks too, to make sure they are still at the correct pressure....

May swap wheels between Firebolt and 1125 at the weekend... :idea:

Seriously though Plash, I presume these are new tyres and the last ones you road on were they partly or more worn?
I always feel with a rounder profile new tyre that the bike at low speed easily rolls , once tyre starts to wear and the profile changes this slows down.
It can be quite noticable till you get acustomed to it.
Just a thought.

I don't honestly know my tyre pressures, I have a quick look at them each time I use it and give them a kick no and then! I have no problem with "flopping" at low speed and I have the standard issue Buell owners physique!

How many miles have you got on the bike now Pash ?

You may want to have a little play with the suspension setings to see if you can dial it out if it doesn't go away once the tyres are bedded in.

I have to admit my bike feels a little "loose" going into a corner if I'm going down hill - but I've got used to it and I don't want to mess with it as it is fine on the flat.

Also need to change tyres soon - I'm considering the Pirelli SuperCorsa BSB tyres - but I'm trying to find out more about their wet weather performance as the tread is a little "conservative", but I reckon they'll be wicked in the dry ...

As to tyre pressures I stick to what Buell recommend - but I have to admit that I don't check them very often.

Do yours "white line" when filtering through traffic?

The flopping into corners may be a bit of a poor description, however I find, on small, slow speed (up to 30mph) roundabouts, I have to push back on the bars to keep the bike from turning tighter.

My Firebolt doesn't have this problem (it handles perfectly ;) ), nor does my S1 (but then again, that is a wild stallion 8-) )... They both have Dunlop Qualifiers on...

Pash - tried Corsa III on the firebolt a couple of years ago and thought the Daiblo T were better all round, so when I bought the 1125 I took the wheels off at about 650 miles and changed the tyres, I has experimented with tyres pressures with Corsa III and found that for my riding style 33/35 seemed better than 34/36 and beilef me you can tell the difference in one psi under.
I had been running on Metzelers which i also had fitted used on the Firebolt but have just fitted the Diablo super corsa CS1 front SC2 rear to the 1125R which I had been saving for the track.
If you swap wheels between the Firebolt and 1125 then I am sure you remember that the rear tyre will need reversing on the wheel.

Put some more air in the tyres, especially the white lining is a symptom on my bike of being a few psi under par.

Across the board tyre pressures are 36 psi front and 42 rear, I personally find these too high, but that's what the manufacturers have agreed on....
