 Post subject: xb12s running rough

new owner of the above, i think it is a fueling problem, when engine is up to temp i blip the throttle and doesn't do any thing for a split sec, also with the throttle on the smallest of opening the engine rev's aren't steady, surging from 1500 to 2000 rpm, it's got an after market can on, make unknown, and the cable is disconnented on top of air filter, checked the tps and there no adjustment on it, any help please,rick,

the holes in the tps where the two little 7mm screws/bolt's that go through to bolt it on the tb are the same size as bolt's, there not elongated, it fixed in one place

Ok Rick. Do NOT do anything else on your bike for the moment because you could do more harm than good. Without wishing to sound rude it is clear you do not know how the systems on a Buell work. Like the man said read up and find out all you can. Help is here if you need it.

It might be best to get a dealer to do the TPS this time around. Using ECM-Spy, if you do not know the bike, could be a problem.

Your bike may run rough, but, if the reason is the TPS being out, you can still ride it safely...
