If your messing with the bike alot pull the lighting relay. This stops the battery going flat. Most Thermis are very free flowing, gas wise, and will need a fueling set up. Saying that it should idle perfect-ish.

Did you file all the Earth, inc the sub-frame mount coz if you did not it needs doing, surfaces back to metal. Does it start first time from cold now :?:

Ah, I pulled the lights fuse but it still keeps the main light on.... next time!

I didn't file down the earth as they were clean - no paint and good contact. Plus I didn't have a file. I did rub the battery terminals down with a brillo though! Needed a bit of a wipe after.

Yeah, I'm working on the fuelling for the Termi - got an ECMSpy set up and am in the process of doing some datalogging runs.

No that is not. You need to file the surfaces of everything and the number one is the face of the mount on the subframe. I know all looks good, tight and clean but it is not unless it was done before you got the bike. It will not show up as a an ECM fault or with a meter for the loom Earths.
