You have a valid offer of £3,250............how close can you get.

Bearing in mind that next year it will be worth less especially if the factory doesn't open again. Then you won't be able to give it away, Maz will even charge you to throw it in the river.

Anyway Kev, get a fucking grip, you already own the best Buell you're ever likely to. 8-) 8-)
You'll be able to pick up one next year for £2k. That leaves you with over a grand to entertain your "Nieces" over the winter.

Still think that's a great bike for the money. Good history (not ex demo) f**k all miles and I would defo have it if didn't already have too many bikes; 5 (according to her indoors)
I like the STT a lot.
Shame some seem to be trying to take the piss.
Invest in Buells..........................they could soon be history

Not trying to take the piss...that was a genuine offer of what i have available to spend .........I notice that nobody else as offered to match or beat it....so does that mean i'm offering too much?
But the balls in Wilfs court.

How is anyone taking the piss? Wilf wants £3,500, he's been offered £3,000 and £3,250. Who buy's a bike at £3,500 in Autotrader or a dealers and doesn't haggle??

If Wilf's bike was worth more than £3,500 someone would have offered it. They haven't, so it isn't. Basic economics. I understand that Wilf has p***ed his money up the wall but haven't all of us who bought new XB's (I couldn't get half of what I paid new for a bike that was a year old).

Buy a tuber, you lose less money.

I guess your right but must be one hell of a pisser having to take such a hit after 1500 or so miles. Looks like someone's gonna get a bargain or no sale then.

Only ever bought one brand new vehicle........ 1999 Renault Scenic diesel :oooops: Still got it 125000 miles on, do my own servicing and can't justify getting rid of it as has been good as gold.Probably worth bugger all now but feels like it'd do another 100k and if fell apart tomorrow wouldn't feel hard done by. Never needed any bearings, clutch or anything other than consumables.
Got a few bikes ranging from 1977 to 2002 and feel would rather have it that way than have all tied up in one new bike and as seen lose so much in depreciation. Still think the STT has gotta be good value tho. Almost worth Panther getting it just for the engine and flogging the rest, might end up cheaper than his horrendous gearbox woes might cost.

Spook is full of shit and needs to widen his horizons, as do many on here.
It is a miniscule % of people interested in Buells who come here.

Widen the field and increase your own % of potential buyers.

Y`know, I was tempted to say that, but I know how it feels sometimes when you are accused of posting whilst drinking, I used to have it levelled at me most of the time, even when I wasn`t drinking!
It is a shame that others feel the need to do this kind of thing, I guess it somehow makes them feel better about themselves, but what surprised me, was the fact that they were suposed to be my friends, I would have thought if they were a friend, they would have shown more consideration, as I have to you.

One of the reasons that I don`t visit here very often, as soon as your back is turned, there are plenty of willing volunteers to insert the knife.......Thats life I guess.

Have a nice day y`all. 8-) 8-)
