If there's to be no more Buells, what's your next bike going to be? Personally I hope Erik kicks back and starts again, perhaps with an S&S motor. What about an affordable Confederate? A Buell with an X-Wedge motor perhaps? What's on the market that stirs you like a Buell? I'm finding this a difficult one, the Uly's a keeper.

You're on the right track there. The Wakan is a beaut looking machine. Now lets get Erik building 'em ( or more correctly, lets get him building bikes again). F**k HD. I cannot believe this man is going to lie down and take it.

Unfortunately Erik will be on a retainer with HD - and I bet that his contract with HD would have had a clause in it preventing him from starting up another Bike related business ( or being employed in the Bike industry ) without their say so.

So I would imagine Erik will be taking some well deserved leave for a while - before his masters put him to work in the HD sweatshop.

I'm sure you're right. But some americans I once knew loved to say " Winners never quit, Quitters never win". I know the yanks lap this stuff up, but for once I'd like to believe.

So would I like to believe - if I had the money I would bankroll Erik myself.
