Not going very cheap at the moment...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT

At that price, you could almost (20 pounds more) get a new set from the states, all taxes paid...

I'd have thought £180 for brand new was a good price ;)

I was looking at those on ebay but thought is it worth it? dose an extra 5mm in pipe size make that much difference? sorry to go off on a tangent and hijack your post.

They are not cheap..I bid on that one Pash..and lost!
After much research about exhausts I believe it is worth changing the headers, apparently, yet again, size does matter! even 5mm!
I suspect Buell fitted a smaller header on the 08> models to meet emission regs etc
An aftermarket can will give a small increase in torque/power..a header change can produce even better results and improve engine cooling etc..

Anyone know the Buell part number for the earlier header?

Thanks!

Price from Jersey HD.

Strange...I emailed Jersey HD before I knew the part number and they replied saying that part number had been superseded to S0101.02A8A and now cost £229.62 !

Perhaps I will order one from their website at the old price and see what happens!

Yes, I fitted them to mine. You can certainly feel the difference in performance.

Yeah i was going to get a stealth so needed to make my mind up as to what i was doing as the header outlet is different on the 45mm pipe to the 40mm where it goes into the silencer.
Thanks for the reminder though Pash :worthy: ;) :yup:

Hi

Owen from Jersey H-D here - due to the sheer volume of superceded parts it is very difficult to keep the price file on the website up to date.

If a part is ordered and is no longer available or has been supeseded we will contact the customer asap and advise them - in a case like this we would offer the customer a refund or ask them to pay the extra to have the superseded part.

It would be worth contact other dealers to see if they have the 'old' part number in stock at the old price. Otherwise we can supply the new part no (with the extra 5% discount mentioned in earlier in this thread).

Any problems pm me.

:D

Update your HDnet on a weekly basis

Dealers carrying old stock will always charge the new price :?
