Have never run anything but standard harley plugs with no problems at all............may put some new ones in soon as these have been in about 2 years ;) if they work all right and aren't worn why change them too early :D
Always change oils regularly and do things like primary chain adjustment etc but plugs in a buell seem to last forever.

Standard HD 10R12 seem to work as well as anything else. Not sure why but Buells seem to appreciate more frequent plug-changes than other bikes I have ever owned (except maybe my Suz DR), even if they still look fine. I tried iridiums (which lasted over 26k in my Yamaha and still ran fine) but hardly makes any difference on a Buell in terms of longevity. Stick with standard ones, they are cheap anyway and very easy to replace on a Cyclone.

Maz, what's with the 6R12 HD spec for plugs (from '97 manual)? Is that an old spec that the 10R12A has superceded?
