The UKBEG Scottish Weekend takes place between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd May 2010, staying 2 nights (Friday & Saturday) in Glencoe village - which is located in one of Scotland's most spectacular regions.

Jane and I have already booked a room at the Glencoe Hostel.
Location details: here

Just a short walk from the Glencoe Hostel is the Clachaig Inn, which offers alternative accommodation.
Location details: here

If you would like to attend please book direct with the Glencoe Hostel, or the Clachaig Inn, using the links to their web sites.

I once got banned from the Clachaig

There's a reasonable campsite 10 mins walk down the road from the pub ;)

Yeah I should be able to make this one. :D
Just not decided on whether to make a weekend of it or not.
If staying I think it will be at the Clachaig Inn.

:hehe:

Adam, is it just a coincidence, or have you been banned/arrested in just about every location where we hold an event? :D

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that incident that ended up with my visit to the Cells in Kingussie ;)  It wasn't really my fault in the Clachaig though, some of my less savoury climbing mates had done a winter climb that some of the locals had backed off the same day. They took some of the banter a bit too seriously and I tried to explain to the Landlord what a good bunch of lads they really were. The theft of the Mountaineering Club of Scotland insignia from over the fire place didn't help I suppose. Although the removal of this item is a great tradition amonst 'Southern' climbers and it's considered a prize trophy 8-)

I've not been banned from Deliverance or arrested in Lincolnshire (yet  )

.... aaaaannd we're booked in for this one, too. :D

Any establishment fine enough to ban Adam is good enough for me.

We were hoping to link this with a quick ferry dash from Scrabster to Tórshavn and a week's tour, but it looks like Smyril Line have given up on Scrabster :(

Oh well, Skye it is then 8-)

By eck lad, you only need to book the Cumbria weekend now and you'll have the set.

Hey take a look at the links on the hostel page ... some fantastic experiences to persue, quads, canyoning in the water section, rafting, loads of stuff.. could well be worth booking a few days extra to do some of that stuff...... and not really weather dependant either... hmmmm :?:
