Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that incident that ended up with my visit to the Cells in Kingussie It wasn't really my fault in the Clachaig though, some of my less savoury climbing mates had done a winter climb that some of the locals had backed off the same day. They took some of the banter a bit too seriously and I tried to explain to the Landlord what a good bunch of lads they really were. The theft of the Mountaineering Club of Scotland insignia from over the fire place didn't help I suppose. Although the removal of this item is a great tradition amonst 'Southern' climbers and it's considered a prize trophy

I've not been banned from Deliverance or arrested in Lincolnshire (yet )

I still carry the scars from Windermere ..... besides, I wouldn't want to be branded a stalker .....

i have ridden all thru that valley past the hostel on my way ,,, its the most beautiful ride ever... its awesome!!! quite a slow and steady ride at times but breath taking scenery... i envy you who go on this one!

Hey take a look at the links on the hostel page ... some fantastic experiences to persue, quads, canyoning in the water section, rafting, loads of stuff.. could well be worth booking a few days extra to do some of that stuff...... and not really weather dependant either... hmmmm
