conti attacks were used by Nick Sanders on his round the world on a R1 on 20 days trip, so I believe. Which is a great testimony.

On the S1 rear they last about 3K miles, I estimate. Good price normally.

Have never changed front at same time or combined same brands - but might give it a try next time.

As the tyre thread has been started and my 2500 mile dunlop 208s are shagged front and rear , will be going for a set of power 2ct thing is Can anyone give me some advice on tyre warmers. I'm looking at buying some and have looked at various sites on the Internet, some say theirs are thermostatically controlled, which sound good. others warn that some tyre warmers give cold spots, the cords snap etc, etc.

If anyone can advise on a good set to get, I don't mind paying a reasonable price but don't want to get ripped off by just presuming the most expensive ones are the best. in turn this will bring my timings down on my 3 mile blast to the local shop for a Tim Horton's, large one if i do say so myself .

Conti Road Attacks on my Uly, Just done 1300 miles round trip in 4 days to Ireland and fuckin love 'em. Rear starting to square a little now { they've done 1500 miles total} but loads left ;) Front still has writing on  . £144 a pair so not to expensive.
Needless to say i got pissed on lots so can safely say exellent wet or dry.

Just to be charitable ...
My M2 (with Maxtonised front forks and a Penske Maxtonised rear shock) doesn't seeem to like Conti Attacks

Advice from Maxton (and Maz) was that the side wall are very stiff, hence give much less forgiving character ....
It was fine on the Meztlers I had before

Diablos have a high amount of silca (?) in, so are better in the wet. Try a Corsa in damp :ill: I have them on the Ducati :o

ben - sack the dunlops off matey - pilot sports are a good tyre the 2cts are even better but if i was you i'd go for either a diab or a rosso depending on useage - ive been riding my bike through this rainy weather we have been havin in mcr and the rosso honestly have felt like a pillow good feed back and confidence - though price is alwasy an issue dude -

Spookily enough, I'm thinking of getting a set of the new Pireilli Angels fitted next week.

Anyone tried these yet?
