Hi everyone!!!
I am looking to buy a xb9s or xb12s in late January when I get my bonus, so if anyone out there can help me find a bike or offer advice then that would be most welcome, I have 3500 max to spend (dont tell the wife ha ha) ;)
Look forward to hearing from a few of you, so glad you have Papworth Hospital as your charity as I live very close to their in Hardwick near Cambridge

cheers
Sean

If you start reading the back posts you'll understand why Maz and 03 posted that. If you still want an XB once you understand, enjoy them for what they are.

Maz will tell you that the fuel framed Buells are fragile and have a number of design problems and that the tube framed Buells are better.

You go for an XB I have had two. Both XB12s if treated well they are no more bother than the earlier tuber and probably more reliable.

That should cause a stir with any luck :hehe:

Look. All I am doing here is encouraging someone who is on the brink of getting into this great experience :D

I love riding my XB12s. I don't have the experience of owning a tuber  But if not for the XB range where would this site be.... There are a lot of us out here having a great time JOGLE and the like.

Sean. You go for it. The chances of you finding a good tuber are slim. Far more XB's around and plenty of help here and elsewhere.

Good hunting :yup:

I've had 100's of XB go through the shop...my opinion isn't really an opinion, it's fact

.....and this luddite has just bought an 1125, early days yet but just based on build quality and attention to detail alone, it is in a completely different league to the XB series, regardless of the engine (although that is a major plus point  )

I love my tube framed bikes and like many peeps on here that have the full range of Buells ie. tubers, XB's and 1125's in their garages, I'm pretty confident that my tube framed models will always be my favourite Buells.
