a mate of mine with a 2000 M2 has been looking around for a rear braided stainless brake hose, he ordered one from Hel and it had no provision for the brake light switch!
my 99 M2 came with a braided rear pipe when i bought it, 2 lengths of hose which screw into an adaptor for the standard brake light switch, i cant find any manufacturers markings on it so anybody got any ideas who makes 'em? ta very much. :? :?

Fairly certain that I got mine for my S1 (tis the same as you describe having) from Black Bear when the old rubber one got damaged - I assume as std HDB part, or something a dealer can easily source as it was no issue getting it.

Worth giving your local one a call - it was that straight forward for me - probably a good half dozen years ago though.

Fit the Hel hose using a banjo bolt with an integral pressure switch (into the master cyl)... much neater instalation than standard IMO. Lots here already done it.
