Really enjoyable day out, cheer's all, I programed my tom tom wrong and ended up visiting a sub continent religious facility in deepest Brum before arriving at meet.
Great turn out of 'ready salted' bikes and riders :worthy: :worthy:

When I first Googled for the address the first option Google gave was the wrong one ....there was a link next to it that said check if this postcode is correct or something like that and if checked it said no
Further down the page was the official NMM website link and it did give the correct postcode.
Easist thing to remember when heading there is it is in the same area as the NEC just the other side of the massive roundabout type of section.

:hehe: sorry, all you sat-nav users, but that is genuinely funny. I love reading maps and using the old (and rapidly decaying) grey matter.

I never had a bike so white with salt spray but we've cleaned the Ulysses this morning and he's back to his usual immaculate state :P....

You'd have thought with all this technology around these days, someone could put all the details and maps from them sat navs down on paper and maybe ringbind it or something. One of them would be handy :yup:

Hmm... we should come up with a name for that. Mapnav?

This is probably the last thing you need to hear, GM, but this is really why peeps should not rely on satnav. M1, A42, M42 to jct 6, it doesn't really need electronic assistance.

You must have passed signs for the NMM to have got as far as Solihull, which is the next junction down.

,,never saw one Norm, and was looking for them, as I only use sat nav to get me somewhere close, or if, as was the case yesterday, to find somewhere in citys I don't know,,,passed the NEC signs three times and wondered, as a dim spark in the un-visited regions of my mind told me that was the way I should be going,,,
