this is what i have been working on over the hols, the headers are now equal length but it was a pain in the arse to get them something like how i wanted them.
it still needs a bit of tweaking here and there and i need to get it on a dyno, i don't think the noise police are gonna be too happy though, 100db@ idle, 113db@5000rpm, when you give it a blip it maxed at 122db
no track days for me with this on :D , i will make some better baffles for the tailpipes too, apologies for the quality of the recording.

Fair play for the effort, I haven't the motivation. But from some angles that looks just like you tied a knot in the pipes lOl

sometimes that is virtually what you have to do to get equal length headers, or i could've just taken the easy option and joined them straight up like the majority of the after market systems, it sometimes takes well over a week to make a manifold for a car, but to a lot of people its just joining pipes together. check this one out

Looks like your getting there.
How about having a pipe exiting at each side?
I think it looks a bit strange the way the top exit looks.

i was thinking of exiting both sides but of course theres the belt guard etc there and i didn't want to point the outlet downwards like the free spirits, it is just a first off to get a ball park figure etc

come out at the front ;) ... that way you'll have loads of room to make them equal lengths... just keep everything in tight.. there isnt a lot of room between the standard pipes and the race bodywork as it is... :?

when are you planning on getting it on a dyno?

Oh yeah... well done sounds great

cheers dude, i will try to get a dyno session when i can ride it somewhere, when the weathers not shit, jebs in shipston is not too far from me but i'm thinking of keeping it buell and getting down to tubbs at moorespeed, i'm sure he can help me out.
now i have the benchmark regards noise etc, i have a tri-oval silencer skin i made at work, spare from a ferrari 250 i am thinking of using, looks good and more volume, (not the loud sort)

Can you get two lambda bosses on? One for each cylinder...
