Bikerdude...i got exactly the same camera from SSSSanta myself :yup: ...took it out ont' mountain bike yisterday...twas fine mounted ont' andlebars...my knobbly contis ont' tarmac whilst could be felt in my hands did not transfer any vibration to the video...and as far as being robust enough to take the Buells vibrations, i'm not worried...you only feel em at tick over...if it is an issue, i'll get a ram mount and adapt it...

I have the 2K version and used the plastic clamp to mount it on the X1 frame low down near the engine without any mounting issues........................the only problem is it turns itself off which i suspect is down to the vibration so maybe would work better helmet mounted.
Here's one of my fav vids from it.

ah right ok good to hear the clamp is stronger than it appears, though handlebars mounting isnt an option on the 12r.

how much have you used it with the original clamp? and its a good video, but i see you get the same problem as i did when i experimented before (a couple of times i cable-tied a camera phone to the right mirror) normal riding it was fine but under any sort of acceleration i get the same sobbly/wavey picture youre getting throughout. assumed this was vibration so want to reduce the vibration problem as much as possible.

Hi.
I have used the mount with a slit on both sides which i siped tied to my top yoke to right of ignition key, it has a straight view through the screen and being on top of forks a nice ride.

The best place I found for a camera is inside the left scoop:

This is a short video from a test ride (real player required), quality is not the best one due to the compression, but I think it's good enough to get an impression:
