My rear pulley has quite a bit of flaking on the teeth where the hard chroming ( ) is slowly coming off.
Belt looks fine etc but can i do anything to stop this wear,is it still O.K. to use ?

My pulley has had flakey coating for the last 30000 miles and both my belts have lasted over 20 K.
So just forget and enjoy
