The motoGP organisers have approached the guy who lives local to me that organises the uk short track racing to see if they will put on some races at this years british GP ..........they are talking of building a track for this and possibly running races on both the fri and sat evenings :yup: :yup: sounds like it is more than 90% certain to happen at the moment.

Sorry, no news yet about costs etc. I soon as I receive details of the UKBEG package I'll post them within this forum. It is frustrating having to wait but I've been assured I will have the details in January.

The cheapest advance weekend ticket on the Silverstone web site is £60: http://www.silverstone.co.uk/events/motogp1/

Based on the BSB package we had last September, I expect, but don't know for sure, that our Moto GP package will be cheaper than £60.

I expect UKBEG camping will cost £25 per person - this will cover the whole 4 day period, Thursday to Sunday.

The Day of Champions on Thursday 17th June isn't shown on their web site but I'm told it's to be part of our UKBEG package.

Mrs was only asking me the other day if we were going to the gp this year, so we could be up for this.

I have already turned down another event for this weekend because of the MotoGP, so you can definitely put me down for 2 weekend passes and camping please. We wont be able to get there until the Friday night because of my job, BUT we will be there!!! I can't wait.

Only 10 days left in January....they'd better hurry up..!!!!!! :hehe:

I contacted Silverstone yesterday to see if we'd get to know about the UKBEG Moto GP package soon but they're still working on it.

Sorry for the delay but it really is out of my hands. I'm assured we will receive the details in the 'near future' - but it might be into February now.
