I'm off to the Worldwide Dealer Meeting in Texas next week. A couple of the Buell licenced product suppliers are looking to move their stocks of clothing along at a discount to the dealers.

Do I order a load safe in the knowledge that Buell enthusiasts will rush to buy what they can while it is still available at discounted prices? Or are those same people more likely to scour the internet to save a few dollars and leave us with a load of stock on our hands.

Don't like to appear cynical but that has been our experience in the past. Everyone moans that dealers don't carry clothing in stock but, when they do, it sits gathering dust.

Admittedly prices were high and all existing stock disappeared quickly when it was discounted to hell.

Here are a few examples of what is likely to be available and an indication of the discounted prices that we would expect to sell at.

Ladies Spaghetti Rhinestone Tanktop £15

Image

The Classic Thermal £25
Thermal Sherpa Hoody £40
League Track Jacket £40

Image

All American Pit Shirt £35 SS/ £40 LS

There are other items available including long sleeved T-Shirts and "Executive Oxford Shirts" and sparkly T-Shirts for the girls all in the £20-£30 region and baseball caps for a tenner. Most feature the final Buell logo.

We also have the opportunity to buy the remaining T-Shirts from RK Stratman (the suppliers of the JOGLE T-Shirts) but we have to buy them in packages of 50 or 100 and they're likely to retail at £20.

Let me have your thoughts.

Steve

In the Netherlands the girls Buell clothing is pathetic! There's not much to buy, or you have to wait for a million years and íf they have something girlie it's of very poor quality. So you can bring me some girls shirts/hoodies (if available). I'm happy to buy them :yup:

I'd definitely be up for a new logo T-shirt, short or long-sleeve, at that price. Medium please :)

Maybe a track jacket - would like to see bigger photos - do you have any?

When I first bought my M2 in 2001, a mate brought me back a denim shirt, with stitched Buell logos on it, from the states. I wore it all the time, I even had the collar reversed by a local tailor in Libya. Never seen anything like it since :sad1:
