We met Kev (Kevmean) and his son, Harry, at East Kirkby today. Kev gave us two cheques totalling £791.00 as his direct sponsorship from the recent UKBEG Buell Challenge.

Today's event was one of the best we've ever attended at the Aviation Centre, with a Spitfire, ME109 and the BBMF Lancaster each doing separate flying displays. The theme of the event was a step back in time to 1943. Live music, static displays, period vehicles and costumes all helped to recreate East Kirkby as it was at that time.
