Hi guys.

I know this has been asked before, and I've read previous posts, but I wanted clarification on my XB9 exhaust.

I have a 2009 Lightning with the standard exhaust system. It's only done 800 miles and is well looked after, garaged, washed after use etc, but the silencer is already corroding! The black paint is flaking away and rusting.

* Is this covered under the warranty?
* If it is will they allow me to pay the difference for an aftermarket?
* Will fitting a Buell supplied aftermarket effect the warranty?
* What after market would you recommend? I don't want super ASBO loud, just one that doesn't rust!

Many thanks for your help.
Chris

* Is this covered under the warranty?------Yes and they should camcoat it too
* If it is will they allow me to pay the difference for an aftermarket?----- depends on your dealer (ours did thankfully)
* Will fitting a Buell supplied aftermarket effect the warranty?----- Again I would say depends on the dealer but ours didnt
* What after market would you recommend? I don't want super ASBO loud, just one that doesn't rust!-----Cue opened can of worms ;) Its horses for courses but I like the remus

Many thanks for your help.
