We do :D (but it does not manage parts supercession  as it simply carries forward the old part number/old price)

Dealers carrying old stock will always charge the new price :?

We don't :D

Not sure its going to be worth the cost now! at the old price i would have done it but now not so sure the gain if any is worth the extra cost.

Maz whats your opinion? would be greatfull for your input on changing the headers to the larger 45mm :yup:

Not had time to sort my exhaust since my last post on this header issue but now it needs to be done..
Can any one tell me for sure the correct part number for the earlier 45mm dia header pipe?
Was going to order S0101.02a8 as advised earlier but a dutch Buell shop says part number S0101.1AAA is the one??!!
Dont want to end up buying the same 40mm header as I have now on my 08 XT !

Thanks Guys in advance..!

Thanks for replies..

Found a S0101.1AAA header for sale in the US..out of interest I asked the dealer selling it to measure the O.D. which came out at 38.01mm..where does the 45mm come from Im told it is?...maybe he has the part number wrong..!
Any recommendations where to buy one?

Thanks..

I was looking at those on ebay but thought is it worth it? dose an extra 5mm in pipe size make that much difference? sorry to go off on a tangent and hijack your post.

Yes, I fitted them to mine. You can certainly feel the difference in performance.

Maz...New header arrived as above..!

Existing header seems to be held on with plate secured by 2 studs/nuts..the securing plates appear to be prefitted onto the old header..do I need to buy different ones to fit my new header? Or am I missing something!!

Thanks :worthy:
