Right then someone answer me this;

If firebolts are the future why don't they make them anymore?

They still seem to make them, at least they are shown at the website as a 2009 model (with one of those funny monkeys on them, who don't dare to lean).

Where do you try to gather some info about Buell? The manufacturer's homepage, perhaps?

Buell UK, it's where I live. Firebolts are made for the USA only and have been discontinued in Europe since 2007.

Therefore how can they be the future?

Looking at the subject heading, I can only presume we're discussing the new evolved model of the firebolt, the fireblot??

To get to the other side?

Or was that the one about the chicken?

And, if you want to play with that bikes name, can I also offer Fraybelt and Direfault.

But I hear that the Nimbus 2000 is a worthy successor.

You original hypothesis is incorrect. They do make them, it's just that us peeps in the UK are not good enough for them. Or maybe we see them as being Rice Wannabies and don't even have the "Being Patriotic" excuse. :ner:

If the bolt is the future and we do not get it here then it must be global warming!

We don't get them any more because we will soon be under 60 foot of ice melt and the bolt electrics will not stand that. :lol:

Perhaps Europe don't get them here because the european Buell riders "don't get them" and hence no demand. Difficult to sell a 1200 sports bike here agaisnt all of the sport opposition. Not ehough BHP. But still would have thought the UK cafe racer tradition would flog a few here though?

Still think they are a good looking bike stunning in white when they were released compared to everything else.

Total bagoshite and my least favourite Buell model to date......'they' wont send the blot over here because it MIGHT distract potential 1125R buyers :idea:

Yep, that's more or less what I was told when I queried with Buell why no Firebolt in the 2008 range ...
