For anyone that hasn't had their conformation email - on the page where you can check that you are registered, put in your email address rather than your reg' number, I did this and received confirmation instantly (unless it was a total considence!?).

Its no coincidence Steve - I have been checking each week since registering using the bike Reg number and after reading your post I used the email address and ...........automatically received confirmation............  thanks for the tip.

:D :D

In a bit of a dilema with this one I know others are going from South, but my local has a ride up, bearing in mind 90% are serving or ex navy, well so far looks like about 80 going from pub M27,M3,A34,M4 route, so dont know if southern peep's want to meet up or go with the crowed, talking to a few members later, as was thinking of meet @ dg20 then off thru Romsy Salisbury and back roads up nice route for Buellers .........

:ffs: AND BANJO how many of us told you to register and your an Ex Navy SHAME ON U will tell the whole pub tonight........ :yc:

What sort of time are people planning on arriving at Hullavington?
You do all realise that the event kicks off at 0800?
I cannot see if there is a cut off time, there probably is though.

Unless the weather on that particular weekend is really bad we intend to ride down on Saturday and stop somewhere nearby, ready for an early start on Sunday.

I guess I must be the only one who feels that the poor people of Wooton Basset should just be left alone and that they don`t need this shit in their little village on Mothering Sunday......I actually feel for them on that day, as it will be a royal pain in the arse for them to go about their daily business, and on Mothers day too......

Borrowed this from another site for you Nutah.

'I dont think the email confirmation with the registration document that they referred to in one of their announcement has been sent yet. However if you go here:

http://www.afghanheroes.org.uk/bikersevent.asp

and tap in your email address at the bottom, they will (after some time of waiting) send you an email with your bike reg, pillion passenger details and registration number. It took about an hour for my email to come through (and then it arrived 7 times cos im an impatient bas*ard and kept trying!!!)'

I have registered (but haven't had my email yet) but am getting cold feet. I am not sure I will be up for riding with such numbers. My riding skills are suspect, and don't want to make a fool of myself.... :( :sad1:
