I'd have thought you would be use to extortionate insurance charges by now driving that 350Z, how much does that cost at 22

Take it easy. ;)

Getting old is only good thing when it comes to insurance time for me, £112 per year fully comp with mods for a tl1000s (the original widow maker).
And £98 for the mustang........................pay more to be 21 again anyday.

What annoys me most is that you get quotes of widely varying amounts - and most of the time the underwriter is the same ( Equity Red Star ) - it's just down to the amount the agent charges !

I've always found Falcon Bikes to be very competitive.

Just spoken to Carole Nash who have now taken over Buell insurance,
because my accident knocked 2 yrs off my no claims the premium will now be...........
£592.07 up £240 on last year. but because they only took over Harley/Buell insurance in jan they cant send me proof I have to contact Equity for that. :headbang:

Makes you wonder why people run round without insurance

£249 fully comp not declaring mods
£830 declared!

That's a good price for someone of your age Chris - I'm paying £270 (equity Red Star, £250 excess, agreed value £8,500) at 46 years old with 3 years no claims, no accident history and 7 mods declared.

Most companies will still quote you for up to 3 mods
