I've started eating carrots. Pretty sure the reflectors are plastic so higher wattage bulbs are probably not the way to go.

HID? I have philips brilliance or something and they are pretty good when both lights are on at the same time.

Have you asked Matt at Trojan Horse? Sure he would know what, where and how much. Either that or Tubbs at Moorespeed in Poole.

Yup that's ONE reason I've changed everything to HID now. HID the dip only OR convert to H4 lenses and fit electromagnetic H4 HID's,

if you can't afford the Hid or extra lights try thesehttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PHILIPS-H7-MOTOVISION-HEADLIGHT-BULBS-BUELL-BIKES_W0QQitemZ120394459137QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Motorcycle_Parts?hash=item1c0811a801

Ive got these fitted and they are very good...i commute all week long and these have been excellent

the stock bulbs are also pants...i kept them after fitting the above bulbs and when i had two lights blow on my citroen bag o spanners C4 used the Buell bulbs to replace em...they are way under powered making my previously good Citroen lights pretty poor, so it maybe you only need to change to a quality bulb ie lucas/phillips/osram ect and you'll find a marked improvement...HTH

hi chris i se u quoted 9h4 lenses and fit electromagnetic H4 HID's) where can i get the h4 lenses? i was thinking this is the wat 4ward i have the h4 hid's in my slab side :)

i think the h7 hid option wld not be a wise idea even though i have done the 2 lights main mod? as the hid's take a few mins to warm up and if turned on then off then on dont always spark up? so u wld loose main beam quite often or main and dip if i still had the std alturnate dip main config :(
