 Post subject: 98 S1 battery dying

Can anybody recommend whats the best replacement battery thats about, as this one aint going to last much longer the winter has killed it. I know its got to be a gel as it sit on its end.

The X1 is coming up to it's 9th birthday and the battery seems as strong as ever ;)

Hmm unfortunately i dont know. The battery in at present is a gel mounted on its end face with the terminals facing the rear cylinder, the strap is tightened from the back by the oil tank. Size at present is 180 x 130 x 80.

Couldnt find any numbers on the battery but found it eventually under the top packing and its called a red top 20 at a small price of £114 oh well its supposed to be the best power to size you can get.
