ok answer one....... not sure if i will get to black bear spook... i spoke to dirty john about headers and he wants £125-00 not included post of course and i havent got that sort of cash at the moment.. so looking for a cheaper set...
2/ I just got back from tubbs at moore speed.. etc... and D.G 20 have fitted 2 different sized studs in my header bracket in the front cylinder  ..one of them is about half way out but both rusted to buggery and now its got a distinct blow from the gap thats developed where the bracket has come loose that holds the header in tight.. Tubbs tried to release the studs but they wouldnt move freely and he reckons they will break if he tries to remove them... besides the front header has a pretty bad gouge in it also..and because of the vibration the front strap on the exhaust has also snapped  well at least the fork seals are now done... am gonna get this bike upto gether for my son then probably gponna look at a yam 1300xjr.. seen a reasonable looking one on a 2000 plate.. a little dearer than it should be but nothing that cant be negotiated.. ..so theres the update.. keep up the funnies spook.. you make me laugh every time i read your posts

Yes I am doing Em's do, don't know about Charlie. I'm hoping to meet the Southampton Posse at Jack's Hill Cafe on the way.
