well i'm back and got the two pipes, i can say the pictures dont do them justice, the quality of the work is fantastic, the reverso is fitted and sounds great, i will need to mod the lowers a little to fit, but it will be well worth the effort to do it.

will try to get on with it over the next couple of weeks, and post some pics when done.

thanks again Alan for the work.... :worthy:

on a seperate note, lent my farther in law the CR and he now wants one :D

Excellent. I seem to remember you saying you had access to a Db meter. Any chance of you putting it 18" away from the outlet at an angle of 40 deg and seeing what the reading is at 5k rpm?

Muchos grassyarse 8-)

45deg and 1metre away it was 110db @5000rpm
gets down to 108db with a baffle
working on a round silencer to try and get a bit more silencing volume to it.
if that don't work i have another plan :)
got a few more variations to try at tubbs dyno when i get them done too.
i am slowly getting on with all the builds.
the primary probably looks closer in the pic than it is, that another mod anyway :)

Let me know how you get on mate, I love your work but would dearly like a mod to the system I bought from you to make it a little more civilized ;)

Standard system is now back on my bike and your artwork is just sat on a shelf :(

Albert how about making one like the Free Spirits one i.e. two silencers.
Would that not be easier to make it quiet?
As I already said that would be the big issue for me how loud it is.
A loud exhaust is okay for 100 or so miles but when your doing 300-400 miles it does start to annoy you ever so slightly. :(

i'd be interested to hear how loud the free spirits is
most of these aftermarket ones are all about as loud as mine
the noise on the move is not really an issue,
my only real concern is when i start it up outside the house at 7 in the morning
the problem is getting more silencing volume in the space.
i will be trying something new asap :)

Can you use a more compliant silencer material? Aluminium or Titanium sheet?

pash i have a few ideas
double skin the oval silencer, ally might work on the round one but not the oval, ditto the titanium, plus i don't reckon many people will want to shell out for the ti
